A beautiful face through a fruit acid peeling

A beautiful face through a fruit acid peeling

Autumn has finally arrived and now it’s good time to focus on more intensive care of your skin, as this is when the sun is not very active in our latitudes and its influence on skin is low.

All fruit acids possess the feature of a cheratolic effect. They contribute to removing dead skin particles on the horny skin layer and allow for the growth of new cells. Besides this they also stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, both of which help your skin to rejuvenate and restore itself. They also help in making your face smooth, soft and bright.

On the one hand Alpha hydroxyl acids are potentially traumatic for the skin, but are also on the other hand exactly the acids that start the regeneration processes. It will be also helpful for people who have an inclination to getting an acneiform eruption. It is well known that a chemical peeling will be ideally useful for skin with low elasticity and which is experiencing a loss of durability and strength.

For whom this is suited and for whom it is not.

As with any procedure there are some sign that you may benefit from an acid peeling:

  • pale, weary or very dry skin;
  • presence of pigmented spots;
  • onset of mimic wrinkles;
  • enlarged pores;
  • comedones and acne;
  • trace of pimples, scarring and striae

Instances where you may not benefit:

  • presence of wounds, scratches, cuts;
  • eczema and psoriasis;
  • herpes in an acute form and dermatitis;
  • an allergic rush
  • those who have couperosis should be especially careful when undergoing a peeling treatment

You should also refrain from undergoing this treatment if you have recently been exposed to the sun for an extended period of time.

Characteristics of this procedure.

To get a good result you should get a sequence of sessions with an interval up to 10 days in between each visit. The efficacy of acids depends on their concentration, and the higher that this concentration is the more perceptible the results of the peeling will be. That is why a minimal acidity  level is typically utilised during the initial procedures. Later on the level will be increased in order to ensure definitive results.
